歴史上の人物か同時代の人物かを問わず、「あなたがリーダーにしたくない人を1人挙げ、その理由を書いてください」という質問に、

 

一位、鳩山由紀夫元首相

 

二位、菅直人前首相

 

三位、民主党の小沢一郎元代表

 

と、民主党のトロイカ３人衆が選ばれたのでした。リサーチを依頼したこっちも、ここまで明確な結果が出るとは正直、想像もしていませんでした。また、戦後の日本の首相33人の名前を挙げて、「リーダーとして最も評価できない人を1人選んでください」という設問でも

 

一位、鳩山由紀夫氏

 

二位、菅直人氏

 

三位、宇野宗佑氏

 

という結果が出て、ハトカンのぶっちぎりの実力のほどがうかがえました。国民の心に、深く何かが刻まれたというわけですね。ちなみに、「リーダーにしたくない人」の四位は渡辺恒雄氏、五位は野田佳彦首相でした。読売新聞では決して載せられない調査結果であったわけです。

 

それでは、国民はなぜ彼らをリーダーにしたくないのか。紙面では十分に載せられなかったので、ここにその代表的な理由を掲載しようと思います。いやあ、やっぱり国民はちゃんと見ているのだなあと改めて感じ入りました。

 

鳩山氏……「優柔不断」「めちゃくちゃ」「無知・無定見。こんなリーダーのもとで仕事などできるわけがない」「口ばかり」「国内が混乱する」「言ったことが寝て起きると変わる」「宇宙人だから」「二枚舌」「何を言っているのか分からない」「頭がおかしい」「ウソをついても平然としている」etc

 

 菅氏……「予想外のとんでもない政治家」「屑」「あまりにリーダーとしての資質がない」「自分勝手」「信用できない」「今まで見たことのないほどのバカ」「こんないいかげんなヤツ初めて」「自己の能力を認識していない」「国のことより自分のことしか考えていない」「その場しのぎに終始した」etc

 

 小沢氏……「私利私欲的」「不誠実」「男らしくない」「身辺のことしか考えていない」「汚い」「腹黒い」「信用性がない」「部下に罪を擦り付けている」「胡散臭い」etc

 

 ……同じ最低の評価でも、その理由は三者三様でそれぞれの特徴を正確にとらえていると感じました。
